• The commission welcomed three new members, two of them present for the meeting.
• The commission received a report regarding future plans for broadcasting meetings of the city’s independent bodies (which includes the Charter Commission). The City Clerk indicated that while no final decisions have been made yet, the Mayor and City Council leadership are supportive of broadcasting such meetings starting in January 2023.
• The commission received a report regarding the implementation of the charter amendment changing the city’s government structure.
