The Kansas City, Missouri City Plan Commission is responsible for recommending and approving major development projects and plays a key role in the city’s physical and economic growth.
It reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on proposals for zoning changes, rezonings, new subdivisions, and future development plans and it ultimately approves most major development projects.
This is a hybrid meeting, but in-person attendance is preferred.

The City Plan Commission (CPC) hearings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month at 9:00 AM. The hearings are hybrid; both in person at City Hall, 414 East 12th Street, in the 10th floor Council Committee Room, and virtually via Zoom.
