DESCRIPTION:Our community elects five Board members who serve four-year te
 rms. The Board members are responsible for the overall operation of the sc
 hool district. Among its duties\, the Board adopts an annual budget\, appr
 oves all expenditures\, establishes policies and regulations\, authorizes 
 employment of all personnel\, approves curriculum and textbooks\, and appo
 ints the Superintendent.\n\nRegular meetings of the board are normally hel
 d at 6:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month in the Bo
 ard Room of the District Administration Center\, 1500 N Avenue. All Regula
 r Board meetings are open to the public.\n\nFor the agenda\, click on the
