The Indiana Natural Resources Commission is an autonomous board that addresses issues related to the Department of Natural Resources. The 12-member board includes six citizens chosen by the governor on a bi-partisan basis, three ex officio members from state agencies, the director of the Department of Natural Resources, the chair of the advisory council, and a representative of the Indiana Academy of Science.
