• Commissioners approved a land use application for a conditional use permit to allow public safety and welfare at 2633 Minnehaha. This is the future site for a Community Safety Center/Minneapolis Police Department Precinct to replace the 3rd Precinct.
• Commissioners postponed consideration of the city’s application to build a water maintenance facility at the former Roof Depot site to its Dec. 4 meeting. The city accepted a personal guaranty from the East Phillips Neighborhood Institute on Nov. 8, a major milestone in the agreement for EPNI to buy it. In a press release, the city said they expect the sale to close in July 2024. It is unclear what discussion for this item entails at the Dec. 4 meeting.
• Commissioners approved a Tax Increment Financing Plan for 3030 Nicollet, a 109 unit affordable housing project.
• Commissioners approved multiple conditional use permits and variances for signage across the city.
