EGLE, MDHHS and EPA all found presence of chemicals in air testing. No health risks yet–based on very little data.
Dixon shared this is hopefully the first of several meetings and apologizes for not having all the answers tonight. There are plans in the works for more sampling.

Question from Robert Shobe - why are we dealing with this after the fact? Why is the monitoring control on the opposite end of the building from the closest resident? Why are you holding this meeting without all the information?
Answer - will get back to you on monitor location
Eden Kasmala - frustrated that there is not enough data to support what they have been sharing all night. How can they say data isn’t sufficient but then support Stellantis’s statements there are no health risks.
Answer - EGLE/EPA/MDHHS have not signed off on any statements.
KT Andresky - concern about students health working outside in the garden. Are students and the garden safe?
Answer - VOCs and toxins will dissipate and don’t often stick in the soil. With levels seen, he is not concerned. Cannot make assessment for student safety at this time.
Currently spending time to draft a consent order with enforceable conditions and stipulated penalties. A draft will be brought to the community for comments and feedback. Can’t give specific timeline for this meeting yet.
