City Council Meeting

The City Council is comprised of five members who are elected at large to overlapping four-year terms. Each December, the City Council members select the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem from their ranks.

The City Council appoints the City Administrator, Police Chief, City Attorney, and City Commissions, Committees, and Boards. The Mayor signs official documents chairs the Council meetings, and acts as the official head of the City at public and ceremonial occasions.
