The Crest, Dehesa, Granite Hills, Harbison Canyon Subregion is located in the southwest quadrant of San Diego County. The area consists of approximately 33 square miles including the communities of Crest, Granite Hills, Dehesa and Harbison Canyon. Included within the area, but autonomous, is the 640 acres Sycuan Indian Reservation.

The subregion is bordered by Lakeside to the north, Alpine to the east, Jamul to the south and El Cajon to the west.
