At the meeting: Provisional verification for the November 8, 2022 General Election

The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections conducts and supports elections, making decisions related to the operation of elections in the county. It consists of four voting members: two Democrats and two Republicans. The board certifies issues and candidates that appear on ballots, and it certifies election results. It also makes logistical decisions, such as how many voting booths and precinct scanners to allocate to polling locations.

One of the ballot machines is down, it needs a new motherboard, which won't be available because of a supply chain issue.

Giorgiana Lascu @glascu 16/25

Giorgiana Lascu @glascu 18/25

These changes are due to census data and ward changes and need to be prioritized due to a Feb. or March deadline. Areas that will be prioritized include Parma, Fairview, and Berea.
Giorgiana Lascu @glascu 20/25
The @cuyahogaboe will collaborate with the city counsel on proposals for new precincts and to try and get a final version and then notify the voters.
