During this meeting, the Planning Commission held a public hearing for and approved five items including:
- A new five-story, mixed-use building with 184 residential units and 3,128 square feet of commercial space at 1516 Marshall St NE in the Sheridan neighborhood.
- A new four-story, mixed-use building with 47 dwelling units and 3,800 square feet of ground-level commercial space at 5401 Chicago Avenue S in the Hale neighborhood.
- A new, five-story, 79 unit residential building with 53 enclosed parking spaces at 1823-39 Bryant Ave N in the Near North neighborhood. The commission made practical difficulty findings in order to overturn staff’s recommended denial of this project’s variances and site plan.
