Join us Tuesday, September 21 at 5pm for our second Community of Practice (CoP) gathering! You can expect a fun learning exchange!
What exactly is a community of practice gathering? Community of practice gatherings are fun learning exchanges that enthusiastic and involved community members coordinate together. All you have to bring is your curiosity and participation.
Chicago Documenters CoP is for Documenters, but our gathering is open to anyone. You don’t need to have attended any Documenters trainings nor have completed any assignments. Come out, connect with other civic minded individuals and share what you’ve been learning, seeing and experiencing in our wonderful city.
We’ll open up with a CoP explainer, introduce ourselves and then of course, breakout rooms!
In the breakout rooms you’ll decide which topic you’d like to discuss or bring your own! Some examples of the discussion topics are documenting in person, CPS sending officers to schools despite LSCs voting them out and future community of practice events. After our discussions we’ll have some time to hang out!
All you have to do is register, show up prepared to participate, listen and enjoy yourself! We’ll send the Zoom link out to all registrants the day of the gathering.
